Our vision
FOR OUR STUDENTS TO BE CONFIDENT, CONNECTED, ACTIVELY INVOLVED,
LIFE-LONG LEARNERS.
OUR 'TRIPLE A' VALUES
ATTITUDE - ADVENTURE - ACHIEVEMENT
Halcombe School is a country school and a focal point for the local community. Halcombe School prides itself on its excellent teaching and learning and promotes positive values. There is a genuine sense of partnership between the school and wider community. As is serves a rural area, parts of the programme focus on activities such as Pet Day. We offer a wide range of sporting and cultural activities. Traditional events such as sports days, camps and trips are held every year. We receive tremendous support from families for the variety of events and activities held!
The school has a capable Board of Trustees and a motivated PTA. There are lots of opportunities for families to be involved in the school! Fundraising is often a community effort.
Well-maintained & resourced classrooms are set in attractive grounds with courts, large sports fields, gardens, an adventure playground, swimming pools, and a modern community hall. A school bus service is available.
Please note that the school has an Enrolment Scheme in place.
We welcome visits from prospective students and their families. We are happy to show families around the school and can arrange an interview with teachers and the Principal. Please contact us during school hours: phone 06 328 8845 or email [email protected]
Please see our School Information webpage for details about all aspects of the school, including our 'school rules' and details about our enrolment process and school visits.
