Every parent and caregiver at our school is automatically a member of our PTA.
Our PTA is very active at Halcombe School and organises a variety of activities to support our school and encourage parent participation. The PTA works tirelessly to raise funds for the "extras" - the resources, equipment, and opportunities that our standard operations grant simply doesn't cover. Recent support includes funding school camps, bus charters for school trips and swimming sports, a new fridge for the Hall, boundary fence upgrade, new garden development, 'Jump Jam' gear and classroom resources. Our PTA Executive
The PTA Executive leads this committee and is confirmed each year at its AGM (usually in Term 1). The 2026 AGM was on Wednesday 18 March. We have a “Friends of the PTA” group of parents that we can call on for extra help. This might involve providing afternoon tea for a school event, helping with classroom tasks, providing support for families in need, or collecting things from town. Please come join us!
