THE KIDS AT HALCOMBE SCHOOL
On Friday, the 25th of May, the Student Council will be
hosting CRAZY DAY! This is an opportunity to dress as
‘crazy’ as you can! We want to see crazy hair, crazy
clothes and even crazy shoes! We have some fun
activities planned and hope everyone is able to join in
this event. Most of us are half crazy already, so it
shouldn’t be a problem!

Sausage Sizzle
On Friday 30th March, the Student Council held their
first sausage sizzle. They were able to raise $200 for the Halcombe Firefighters Sky Tower Challenge fund!
Manawatu Wheelchair Rugby team visit
We welcomed the Wheelchair Rugby Team on Wednesday 4th
April.
We collected gold coin donations and were able to donate
$170 to the team! It was great to play wheelchair rugby
and we appreciated hearing the players share their life
experiences and the challenges that they face every day.

Lovely New Statues!
The Student Council have purchased two beautiful garden
statues for our Environment Area as part of their
contribution to our community. Thank you, students!
