Halcombe School PTA - "Supporting Our School"

The PTA is very active at Halcombe School and organises a variety of activities to support our school and encourage parent participation. All families are welcome to attend PTA meetings and can be involved in PTA activities. Events such as the Gala and Annual Trail Ride bring in valuable funds for school resources such as the environmental area, computers and ICT equipment, library resources and technology resources. By regular fundraising projects like these, we are able to reduce our school charges to a minimum.

 "Friends of the PTA"
We would love to receive the names of people who would like to become Friends of the PTA. This would involve helping with sausage sizzles, afternoon teas, working bees and similar events. As parents, we are lucky to have such a dedicated teaching team behind our children and their education, so become a Friend of the PTA and dedicate some time to Halcombe School. Trail Ride 2012
Our annual Trail Ride was held on Sunday 15th April 2012 and was a great success! Over 320 riders attended and over $6,000 was raised for the school! A HUGE "thank you" to everyone involved. Please see our T2 Week 1 newsletter for more information.
