  • give experiences which involve facing and overcoming challenges.

  • increase children’s knowledge and awareness of places in New Zealand outside their immediate environment.

  • develop children’s self management and organisation skills.

  • develop children’s self confidence and sense of adventure.

  • provide opportunities for children to enjoy the social and personal benefits of living and interacting with others in unfamiliar situations.

  • help children develop responsibility, particularly towards their own safety and that of others.

Education Outside the Classroom (EOTC) enriches the curriculum and provides opportunities for learning, personal growth and social development. Our camps are very well-planned and our teachers provide a high level of care and work hard to maintain a safe environment for all involved in each camp.
